Residential Dumpster Rental in Parker, CO
Driveway-friendly roll-offs for Parker homeowners clearing a basement, tearing out a deck, or gutting a builder-grade bath. Protection boards go down every time, and we size the container to your covenant's day limit.
Most of Parker went up between the mid-1990s and the late 2010s, which means the work we haul is rarely a gut of a hundred-year-old house. It is first-refresh work: the original builder-grade kitchen, the hall bath nobody has touched since the closing, a cedar deck that has finally gone soft at the ledger. That debris is bulky, light and awkward — exactly what a roll-off handles better than a pickup and six trips to the transfer station.
Before you pick a delivery date, read your covenants. Stonegate, Canterberry Crossing, Clarke Farms, Stroh Ranch and The Pinery all run architectural control, and most cap how long a container may sit — often seven days, sometimes less. Driveway-only placement is the norm, street placement is frequently banned outright, and exterior work may need ARC approval first. Our guide to Parker permits and HOA rules walks through it. Rules change, so confirm with your association.
We have been running cans out of Dransfeldt Road since 2014, so we know which Idyllwilde cul-de-sacs are too tight for a long trailer and which Pradera gates need a code called ahead. Delivery is same-day or next-day in most of town, swaps go out the following morning, and protection boards are standard rather than an upsell. Tell us the driveway slope and we will tell you honestly whether a 20 or a 30 belongs there.
What Parker Homeowners Actually Throw Out
Basement Finish Demo
Unfinished-to-finished conversions generate framing offcuts, drywall scrap, carpet pad and the previous owner's storage. A 20 yard swallows a typical Parker basement without a swap.
Deck Tear-Off
Twenty-year-old cedar and early composite decking comes out heavy with fasteners and buried posts. Expect more volume than the footprint suggests once railings and skirting are stacked.
Kitchen Refresh
Cabinets, laminate counters, a soffit and the old appliances fill a 15 yard fast. Cabinet boxes are bulky and hollow, so break them down before they go in.
Whole-House Cleanout
Garage, crawlspace and three closets at once. Furniture, boxes and exercise equipment go in loose, and we haul it the same week you finish sorting.
Flooring Replacement
Tile, backer board and thinset are dense. A 10 yard is often the right call for flooring alone — weight, not space, is what fills it.
Bathroom Gut
Cast-iron tub, vanity, tile surround and subfloor from one hall bath. Small footprint, deceptive weight, and a good candidate for the smallest container we run.
Storm And Fence Debris
Front Range wind takes cedar privacy fence down every spring. Panels, posts with concrete footings and broken limbs load easily into a driveway container.
Move-Out Purge
Closing dates do not move. Load the garage, the shed and the attic in one weekend and we pull the can before the final walkthrough.
Picking A Size For Your Driveway
Most Parker houses have a two- or three-car driveway with room for a 20 yard, which is the size we drop most often. A 15 yard is the better fit for a single-room remodel or a tight Stonegate patio-home apron, and it sits lower, which matters if you are loading drywall over the side by yourself. Step up to a 20 yard for a basement finish or a full main-floor refresh. Dense material changes the math entirely: flooring, tile and plaster hit the weight limit long before the walls of the box fill, so smaller and heavier beats bigger and half-empty. Our size guide for Parker projects lays the ranges out side by side.

Douglas County sits on expansive bentonite clay, and half the driveways in Parker already have hairline cracks from heave before a truck ever backs in. We put protection boards down under the rails as standard and photograph the slab on arrival so there is no argument later about what was there first. Winter adds its own wrinkle: a can set on packed snow settles as it melts, so we look for a level, cleared spot. On the covenant side, keep the container in the driveway, keep the load level with the top rail, and get it hauled inside your association's day limit. More on protecting a driveway during delivery. Confirm current rules with your HOA or metro district — they do get amended.

Residential Dumpster Rental FAQs
Do I need a permit for a dumpster at my Parker home?
Not if it stays on your own driveway, which is where the vast majority of our residential drops go. A permit or right-of-way approval comes into play when a container has to sit in the public street, and many Parker HOAs prohibit street placement regardless. Check with your association first and with the Town of Parker if the street is unavoidable. Requirements do change, so verify before delivery day.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Our standard rental window covers most homeowner projects, and we will extend it if the job runs long. The tighter constraint is usually your covenant: many Parker and metro-district associations cap a container at seven consecutive days, a few at three. Tell us your limit when you book and we will schedule the haul to land inside it. Associations amend these rules, so read your current governing documents rather than a neighbor's memory.
Can I put paint, electronics or chemicals in the dumpster?
No. Colorado bans televisions, monitors and computers from landfill disposal, leftover architectural paint goes to a PaintCare drop-off site, and solvents, pesticides and pool chemicals belong at a Douglas County household chemical roundup. Tires, batteries and refrigerant appliances are also out. Everything else from a normal remodel is fine. Our Douglas County disposal rundown covers the edge cases.
Will the truck fit in my cul-de-sac?
Usually, but tell us what we are walking into. We need roughly sixty feet of straight approach and clearance from low branches and power drops. Tight Idyllwilde and Anthology courts, gated Pradera and Stonegate entries with code boxes, and steep Pinery drives all get handled every week — they just need a heads-up at booking. If access is genuinely impossible we will say so and suggest a smaller can or a staging spot.
Is my 1998 house likely to have asbestos?
Far less likely than an older Denver bungalow, but the question is not automatic. CDPHE Regulation No. 8 requires inspection by a Colorado-certified inspector before a renovation disturbs more than trigger amounts, and that applies by quantity, not by build year. Downtown Parker, Sedalia and rural farmhouse stock is where we see it. We cannot accept asbestos-containing material in any container. Confirm current thresholds with CDPHE before you start swinging.
