Roll-off containers for The Pinery homes and jobsites

The Pinery is the big wooded community just south of us along Parker Road, built around a country club and laid out among genuine ponderosa stands rather than planted saplings. It is one of our closest and busiest service areas. The original filings date to the 1970s, so this is prime remodel territory: cedar decks past their life, original kitchens and baths, worn shake and asphalt roofs, and basements finally getting finished. Add the annual pine needle and limb load from wooded lots and you get steady container demand year round. Mature tree canopy over the driveways is the one thing we always check before choosing a size.

What we know about working in The Pinery

Development started in the early 1970s around The Pinery Country Club and continued through Northeast Pinery and Pinery West into the 2000s, so you can drive a few streets and move through three decades of construction. Lots are large and heavily treed, many backing to open space or the golf course, with Bingham Lake and Bayou Gulch Regional Park as the recreation anchors and Ponderosa High School serving the community. Older homes commonly have cedar siding, shake roofs replaced after hail, and 1970s-era interiors that owners are gutting now. The Pinery HOA and the surrounding metro districts maintain parks and set standards on visible containers and storage. Practical issues are low limbs over driveways, long sloped approaches, septic on some of the older outlying parcels, and heavy needle and deadfall loads after windstorms.

Getting a truck to you

This is one of our shortest runs. Straight south on Parker Road from Dransfeldt, then in at North Pinery Parkway or Hilltop Road depending on the filing. The complication is overhead. Ponderosa limbs hang low over many driveways, and we need roughly fourteen feet of clearance to raise the hoist. Long sloped drives and tight cul-de-sac turnarounds are common, so a smaller container is often the smarter choice here.

Routes we run: CO-83 (Parker Road), North Pinery Parkway, Bayou Gulch Road, Hilltop Road.

Permits, streets and placement in The Pinery

On a private driveway in The Pinery you generally do not need a municipal permit. Placement in the public street or right-of-way is a different matter and normally requires approval — from the borough or township where the road is locally maintained, or from CDOT where it is a state route. Every municipality in Douglas County runs its own form and its own lead time, and older streets here often have no off-street parking at all, so plan the permit before you plan the delivery. It is a ten-minute call that saves a week.

Our permit and placement guide walks through the whole process, and CDPHE publishes the Covered Device Recycling Act rules and the other statewide disposal restrictions that apply to every load we haul out of The Pinery. County recycling and household hazardous waste dates are published by Douglas County.

Dumpster Rental in The Pinery — FAQs

Can you get a container under the pine canopy on my street?

Sometimes yes, sometimes we place at the curb instead. Rolling a box off the truck requires the hoist to rise to about fourteen feet, and Pinery driveways frequently have ponderosa limbs well below that. If you can prune the approach ahead of time, that solves it. Otherwise we look at the flattest, most open spot near the street and work from there.

What size fits a 1970s Pinery deck tear-off?

Most original Pinery decks are cedar and larger than people remember, often wrapping two sides of the house. A 20 yard container handles a typical tear-off including railing, joists and stair framing with room for the odd extra. If you are also pulling a hot tub pad or replacing a roof at the same time, step up to a 30 yard and save yourself the second haul.

Do you take pine needles, limbs and deadfall?

Yes, and there is a lot of it here after a windstorm. Needles, cones, branches and small trunk sections all load fine and are usually handled as green waste when kept clean. What matters is not mixing in soil, rock or construction debris. If you are doing a full lot cleanup after a storm, tell us the rough volume and we will recommend a size rather than guessing.

How quickly can you deliver a dumpster to The Pinery?

The Pinery is about 6 miles south of Parker, so it is a routine run for us. Same-day delivery is usually possible if you call before about 11am, and next morning otherwise. Storm weeks and the spring remodeling peak can stretch that, and we will tell you honestly when you call.

Do you charge extra to deliver to The Pinery?

No. The Pinery sits inside our standard service area and the flat rate is the same as it is in Parker. Delivery, pickup, your rental window and disposal up to the agreed tonnage are all included in the number we quote you.

What size dumpster do most The Pinery customers take?

A 20 yard is the most common by a wide margin — it suits kitchen guts, multi-room renovations and three-bedroom house cleanouts. But if you are stripping plaster and lath out of a pre-war house, or moving coal-era brick, stone or concrete, size DOWN to a 10 yard heavy container and take two hauls — that material hits the weight limit long before it fills the box.
